4 -Step process to help manage and maintain water quality - 1. Cleanse, 2. Magnetic Filter 3. Chemically treat and 4. Monitor.

Corrosion Inhibition with side stream filtration:
Corrosion in systes can come in many differnt forms. The most common form of corrosion is oxegen in the water. The corrosion called oxidative corrosion. Some other types of corrsoion include galvanitc corrosion, caustic corrosion and acidic corrosion. To help prevent this corrosion many methods are used to control PH. The use of chemical corrosion inhibitors and effective monitoring, dosing can help.
Also, when a system has a slighly low PH combined with iron oxides (source of electrons) you willl have a battery effect and hydrogen will begin to form in the system. There is a corelation between temperature and hydrogen gas formation. As the temperature increases, the hydrogen gas production also increases. This is yet anouther reason why we reccomend corrosion inhibitors and magnetic side steam filtration.
There are serveral differn corrosion inhibitors on the market. However, for closed loop heatign systems, only two types are reccomended. Molybdate and nitrate corrosion inhibitors are film forming inhibitors and and protect against all forms of corrosion. Molybdate is preffered over nitrite corrosion inhibitors because it is required at lower concentration, it is less toxic, and does not promote the growth of bacteria. The nitrate works by reacting with ferrous hydroxide and forming a passive layer of magnetite. The Molybdate works in a similar way by converting "red rust" into the same passive layer.
We reccomend a certain amount ppm of Nitrite and Molydbate inhibitor based upon if side stream filtering is being impleneted or if a pre-operational system cleaning is required. The Molybdate will remove oils and minor debris from the system and it will collect in the filter. Without the sidestreaming filter, the cleanign properties of this meathod will not be effective.
Enhanced Protection against scale and corrosion, and pin-holing.
Extends life of the system and ensures optimum boiler efficiency.
A simple test kit is available to check levels if electronic monitoring is not implemented.
Harmless to the enviroment, non-toxic and biodegradable.
Helps prevent the formation of hydrogen gas within a hydronic system.
